Terms and Conditions

1. General

These standard contract terms are an integral part of the agreement between you (also referred to below as ‘the Customer’) and Robin´s Nest Ltd

2. Reservation and conclusion of contract

2.1

By making a verbal, written (incl. email) or electronic (incl. Internet) reservation you are entering into a contract with Robin´s Nest Ltd.. From that moment the rights and obligations arising from the contract (confirmation of reservation), as well as the present contract terms, will be effective for you and for Robin´s Nest Ltd..  You will receive a confirmation of your reservation electronically and without delay.

2.2

By paying a deposit you acknowledge that the contract has been concluded on the basis of the reservation confirmation.

2.3

If no deposit is paid within 2 days from receipt of the reservation, or any recognized confirmation of payment sent, Robin´s Nest Ltd. may dispose of the reserved period as it sees fit.

2.4

If you have any special requests the booking agent can only accept them on a non-binding basis. You have no legal right for such request to be fulfilled unless it has been confirmed in writing by Robin´s Nest Ltd..

3. Services/Prices

3.1.1

Unless otherwise stated, the published prices are deemed to be daily rates for the whole property for the defined pricing period. The published prices are applicable until the website is updated. Subject to paragraph 3.5 (‘Price changes’) the prices valid at the time of booking are applicable.

3.1.2

Included in the prices are laundry, utilities, local taxes and final cleaning. Additional services requested by the customer  (e.g. additional cleaning, firewood, bed linen, etc.) are not included in the rental price and are payable locally and prior to departure.

3.1.3

The minimum rental period is 2 days, and arrival and departure days are Saturdays (high season). Exceptions are possible, subject to written confirmation from the booking agent.

3.2

The infrastructure services (transport facilities, shops, restaurants, sports amenities, public beaches and their amenities) shown on the website, on the travel confirmation and in the documentation are not a part of our obligations and duties. These facilities are independently responsible for deciding on their opening hours, etc. The same applies to public and private utility services (such as water, electricity, etc.). Likewise, details of climatic conditions do not constitute any sort of warranty. Duties to warn, inform and duties of care that may be relevant to us are not affected.

3.3 Payments

The total rental for the period booked is payable as follows:

  • I. Deposit: 20 % of the total rental for the reserved rental property is payable within 2 days from the booking date.
  • II. Deposit: 30 % of the total rental for the reserved rental property is payable no later than 45 days before arrival.
  • Balance: 50% of the total rental must be paid to Robin´s Nest Ltd. on arrivalIt is possible to select alternative payment schedule, such as 100% prepayment at the time of booking, while booking on the website. Payment options are also found on our website are considered valid and binding.

In the case of short notice reservations of less than 45 days before the start of the rental period the total rental is payable in the following way:

  • Deposit: 50 % of the total rental for the reserved rental property is payable within 2 days from the booking date.
  • Balance: 50% of the total rental must be paid to Robin´s Nest Ltd. on arrival.

It is possible to select alternative payment schedule, such as 100% prepayment at the time of booking, while booking on the website. Payment options are also found on our website are considered valid and binding.

3.4 Cancellation policy

If you withdraw from the contract, cancellation charges apply as follows:

  • 20% (of total) for cancellations done more than 45 days before arrival
  • 50% if you withdraw 30 – 45 days before arrival
  • 80% if you withdraw 5 – 29 days before arrival
  • 100% less than 5 days before arrival

The relevant date is the date of receipt of your notification (cancellation) by the booking office at info@robinsnestcorfu.com r by calling our reservation phone number. If the property is not occupied or occupied late, the invoice amount is nevertheless payable in full. The traveling party is recommended to take appropriate travel insurance as Robin´s Nest Ltd. does not provide any coverage for the event of reservation cancellations.
